正確使用I,
Me, My, Mine and Myself
孩子對我說:你可以讀故事好幾遍,為何你不讀文法?怪不得你英文那麼差。我想了很久,是的,我該讀文法。今天的文法課是:正確使用I, Me, My, Mine and Myself.
如果你對I, Me, My,
Mine and Myself覺得困擾,你並不孤單!在本課程中,您將學習他們之間的區別與正確的使用。
I and ME
我是主詞 - 誰是活動的人。只能用“I”時,是指自己在句子的主詞。換句話說,你是採取主動。
我給約翰書。
ME是受詞 - 誰接收了一個指令。代名詞“me”時,是指你執行別人的指令。
這本書是約翰給我的。或者約翰將書遞給我。
當有一個以上的主語或受詞,人都變得有點糊塗了,所以我們看如何正確使用:
約翰和我在party看到Jane。
John=主詞
I =主詞
Jane=受詞
老師叫吉姆和我。
老師=主詞
吉姆=受詞
我=受詞
My and Mine
名詞之前用My,名詞之後,用Mine。
記得My總是跟著名詞,其中Mine替換名詞。
約翰是我的朋友。
約翰是我的一個朋友。
這些都是我的眼鏡。
這些眼鏡是我的。
MYSELF
代名詞“MYSELF”只有當執行自己的動作中使用。沒有人可以對你做任何事情。
這個詞myself用在兩種情況下:
當你做你自己
如)我用刀子不小心割傷自己。
因為重視 - 當你想強調自己
“I”
如)我烤這個蛋糕嘍!
BY MYSELF
BY MYSELF表達的是單獨的意思:
我自己出去吃晚飯了。
Using I, me, my, mine, and
myself correctly
正確使用I, Me, My, Mine and
Myself
My son talk to me: “Why you reading a story
many times, but you havn’t study grammar? So, your English always poor.” I
think a long time, Why? I decide study grammar immediately. Today I study “Using
I, me, my, mine and myself correctly.”
If you’re confused by the words I, me, my,
mine, and myself, you’re not alone! In this lesson, you will learn the
difference between them and when to use the right one.
I and ME
I is the subject – the person who does the
action in the sentence. Only use “I” when you are referring to yourself in the
subject of the sentence. In other words, you are the one taking action.
I gave John the
book.
Me
is the object – the person who receives the action in the sentence. The pronoun
“me” should be used when someone else will perform the action to, or for, you.
John gave me the
book.
OR: John gave the
book to me.
When there are more
than one subject or object people do get a little confused , so we will see how
to use it correctly
John and I saw Jane
at the party.
John = subject
I = subject
Jane= object
The teacher called
Jim and me.
The teacher =
subject
Jim = object
me = object
MY and MINE
Use my before the word, and use mine after
the word.
Remember my is
always followed by noun where as mine replaces the noun.
John is my friend.
John is a friend of
mine.
Those are my
glasses.
Those glasses are
mine.
MYSELF
The pronoun “myself” should only be used
when you are performing the action on yourself. No one else can do anything to
yourself.
The word myself is
used in two cases:
When you do
something to yourself
Eg) I accidentally
cut myself with the knife.
For emphasis - when
you want to emphasize the “I”
Eg) I baked this
cake myself!
BY MYSELF
The expression by
myself means alone:
I went out to
dinner by myself.
