翻山越嶺為哪樁
今天聽到這首The bear went over the mountain兒歌,節奏輕快,一再的重複,感受到小雄兒的用心,隨著旋律彷彿看到小熊努力賣著步伐,就是要竭盡所能翻越山嶺,滿足好奇心,到另外一邊看看,孩子們唱得興味盎然,也感染些許兒時記趣。
這是一首兒歌,歌詞即簡易,音節清晰,琅琅上口,小熊踏著輕快的步伐,既用心又賣力,向前邁進過程中,活力十足,憧憬著未知,正如歌詞中描述:「一隻熊極盡所能翻山越嶺,想要看到牠所能看到的景象;終於到了山的另一邊,看到牠所能看到的」。每個孩子都樂在其中,好一幅童趣畫面;轉身一想,這意境又何其深遠,費盡九牛二虎之力,攀爬、翻山越嶺,超越顛峰又到了山的另一邊,看到的新景象是:「牠看到另一隻熊,原來是牠的雙胞胎,牠們手牽著手一起去遊玩」。
這景象讓人想起人生的旅程,當年少時就像這一隻小熊兒,竭盡所能地攀爬,為了超越巔峰,探究未知的一面,這景像猶如我們常說的「三分天註定,七分靠努力」,努力以赴終將有成,這也是教育有著無限可能,是教育工作者的核心價值。
今天聽了錢校長一席話,人過中年如果還是想著「三分天注定,七分靠努力」那就太不實際了。應該倒過來「七分天注定,三分靠努力」,很多事冥冥中自有定數,天命可能主宰著人的一生,誰說沒道理?沒錯,人生如果分成三個時期,青年、壯年、老年,每個階段都有不同的天命,但是該從哪個時期來切割劃分?是因人而異的,這也是有的人是人生六十、七十才開始的豪邁,而有些人到此階段已垂垂老矣,端看自己的選擇與造化。
話說,人在不同的階段應有不同的思維,年輕時,像這隻小熊,努力以赴,充分探究;到後來,發現了山的另一邊是自己的雙胞胎,原來就在燈火闌珊處等著自己。至少牠是經過長途跋涉後終有所悟,努力也是有所得,不是嗎?
