The Vain
Jackdaw
A king and queen could not agree on which
bird is more beautiful- the swan or the peacock. Therefore, they decided to
hold a competition to decide which bird is the more attractive.
One jackdaw knew that he had no chance to
win. But he thought he could win by using feathers from other beautiful birds.
He secretly plucked some from other birds and put them on himself. He then
entered the competition proudly.
Everyone at the competition was amazed by his
beautiful feathers. But when those feathers to fall off, everyone knew who he
was. All other birds were angry and pulled off the feathers that weren’t his.
Learning from the story

like to wear pink dresses.
But my boyfriend
really likes it.
You should Be
Yourself.
