Are You on the Right Road?

  Faith is a person's or group's way of moving into the forces field of life . It not an easy set of questions. No simple game of value clarification. We understand , man the meaning maker. We do not live by bread alone, sex alone, success alone, and certainly not by instinct alone. We need purpose and priorities; We must have some grasp on the big picture.

In my lives. I thought about faith I would ask:
1. What am I spending and being spent for? What commands and receives my best time, my best
     energy?
2. What causes, dreams, goals or institutions am I pouring out my life for?
3. As I live my life, what power or powers do I fear or dread? What power or powers do I rely on and
    trust?
4. To what or whom am I committed in life?
5. With whom or what group do I share my most sacred and private hopes for my life and for the lives of
     those my love?
6. What are those most sacred hopes, those most compelling goals and purposes in my life?

Faith so understood is very serious business. It involves how we make our life wagers. It shapes the ways we invest our deepest loves and our most costly loyalties. Our real worship , our truedevotion directs itself toward the objects of our ultimate concern my center finally in our own ego or its extensions- work, prestige and recognition, power and influence, wealth.

The thing that is missing here is a sense of humor. Life is a goddamn serious big deal. Are you on the right road?

信念是一個人或團體生活理的力量。它不是簡單的議題，無法以簡單法則作價值澄清。人創造意義，我們生活需求不只是麵包、性、成功或是某些本能，我們需要意義，有目的和優先事項我們要能掌握大局。

在生活中，關於信念的問題：
一、你的支出和花費是甚麼？你擁有最好的時間和能量嗎？
二、甚麼樣的理想、夢想、目標或機構能訴說你的生活？
三、在生活中，甚麼力量或權力是你所害怕恐懼的？甚麼是你依賴和信任的？
四、甚麼人或事是你所承諾的？
五、你和誰分享你最神聖的私生活、愛和希望？
六、在你生活中最神聖的希望和最引人注意的目標是甚麼？

我們理解信念是非常嚴肅的議題，它涉及生命的品質，表現於深層的愛和高貴的忠誠。我們真正崇拜奉獻的對象，最關心得是自我，再擴展至工作聲望、認可、權力、影響和財富。

生命太沉重了，缺少的是幽默感，你在對的道路上嗎？
