Two Badly Burned Ears

兩隻耳朵嚴重燒傷

A man with two badly burned ears went to see his doctor.

“What happened ?” asked the doctor.

“Well,” began the man, “my wife was ironing while I was watching the ball game on TV. She put the hot iron near the telephone and when he phone rang, I answered the iron.”

 The doctor nodded. “ But what happened to the other ear?”

“ No sooner did I hang up, “ said the man, than the same guy called up again!”

一個耳朵被嚴重燒傷的男人去看醫生。

 “發生了什麼 ？” 問醫生。

男人說：“噯，”當我在看電視球賽時，我的妻子正在熨燙。 她把電熨斗放在電話旁，當他的電話響時，我接了電熨斗。”

 醫生點點頭。 “但是另一隻耳朵怎麼了？”

“我一掛斷電話，”那人說，比那個傢伙又打來了！
