沉默之聲
(The Sounds of Silence)
當一天將盡之時，省思一天裡的點滴，感受周邊的形形色色，幾許歡笑，又幾許悵然，孩子的笑靨縈繞耳際，天真浪漫無邪；成人的紛擾，是非得失，如何衡量評估，當power無限時，箭在弦上何時出鞘？是學問、是人文、是擔當，問題是善良的沉默大眾，在閃爍的霓虹燈裡刺痛雙眼，光芒劃破夜空，夜又將為之沉靜，沉默之人，你將何以為之？
「在無盡的夢境裡，我一個人走在圓石鋪成的狹窄街道上；在街燈的光暈下，我豎起衣領抵擋濕冷的天氣，當閃爍的霓虹燈刺痛了雙眼，光芒劃破夜空，也觸動了沈默之聲」。現實社會裡人們很難交心，因為大家聊天而不談心，只用耳朵聽而非用心聆聽，沉默就像癌細胞一樣蔓延、擴散，終至遍及全身，細小而微之聲，只能迴響在沉默的深井裡，沉寂…
美麗的夜空星星閃耀，避開喧鬧的街燈，天上蒼穹如此寬廣，雖然踽踽獨行於繁星夜空，涼風徐徐，微醺吹拂，耳畔響起的「沉默之聲」倚我前行，運動過後的淋漓舒暢，伴隨著黯夜的歌聲，神遊於天際，”The Sounds of Silence”一次又一次的迴盪，由淡然到感受深刻，而後封存於內心深處，仰望皎潔明月，欣賞著路上匆忙行旅，匆匆…

只因有個幻象緩緩的爬過

趁我熟睡時灑下種籽

這個深植在我腦海裡的幻象

依然留存在沈默之聲裡
In restless dream
在無盡的夢境裡I walked alone the narrow street of cobble stone
我一個人走在圓石鋪成的狹窄街道上
Beneath the halo of
a street lamp
在街燈的光暈下I turned my collar to the cold and damp
我豎起衣領抵擋濕冷的天氣
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
當閃爍的霓虹燈刺痛了雙眼
That split the night and touched the sound of silence
光芒劃破夜空，也觸動了沈默之聲
And in the naked
light
沒有燈罩的燈光下I saw ten thousand people may be more
我看到了數以萬計或者更多的人們
People talking without speaking
人們聊天而不談心
People hearing without listening
只用耳朵聽而非用心聆聽
People writing songs that voices never share
人們寫著毫無感情分享的歌
And no one dare disturb the sound of silence
而且沒有人敢去驚擾沈默之聲
"Fools"
said I "you do not know"
「愚蠢的人們啊！」我說：「你們不明白------」"Silence like a cancer grows
「沈默像癌細胞一樣蔓延
Hear my words that I might teach you
仔細聽聽我所教你的
Take my arms that I might reach you
"握住我伸出的手。」
But my words like
silent raindrops fell
但我這些話像無聲的雨落下
And echoed in the
wells of silence
在沈默的井裡發出回聲------
And the people
bowed and prayed to the neon god they made
人們對著自己創造出來的霓虹神明膜拜禱告
And the sign
flashed out it's warning
告示上閃爍著警句
In the words that
it was forming, and the signs said
在逐漸顯現的字句中，它說著：
"The words of
the prophets
「先知的箴言，
Are written on the
subway walls and tenement halls
寫在地下鐵的牆壁和廉價公寓的長廊裡，
And whispered in
the sound of silence"
並且在沈默之聲中低迴不已---------」
